Great breakfast, lunch before we played Bingo. Lots of prizes. Great entertainment singing dancing.
Great time! I was there for their carnival/bazaar. They had some great events for young children. They had a variety of food options. Everything I tried was delicious.
They had a roulette gift game in the hall. They had entertainment in front of the hall, including singers, bsnds, and dance groups.
I will definitely be looking to go back next year!
I enjoy going to 5p Saturday mass there. The priest is excellent when reading the gospel.
I went to visit the food pantry on Saturday. It's certainly is quite a show . Everyone there, volunteering or working to distribute food in too the line of waiting cars spoke Spanish and two of those adults could speak very broken English, and only 1 young teen could speak English properly enough for me to fully comprehend. There is absolutely no real order to the lines for receive food. According to their website you text a msg to their number and you're supposed to be sent a link to fill out your information prior to showing up. However I personally never received a link and they certainly did not answer my questions before I made the bus ride out there. So then after arrival no one could tell me how people like me who don't have a car to go thru the drive thru can receive food. It was not until I was about to leave after receiving my food that I ran into the teenage young lady who actually spoke English I could understand. Everyone there is quite nice but not speaking Spanish I completely stuck out like a sore thumb... lol
Went there the first time for a food pantry. Waited in my hot car and wasted what gas i had for over an hour in to get a huge box of potatoes and radishes. I look around and everyone else has real bags of food, milk, etc. I guess since im white and not hispanic i am the wrong color and was not given anything as everyone else did. Smh. God knows. Smh
If you are looking for a Mass service for a deceased family member, this is not the Church. More specifically not the Priest/ Father (Jesus Lizalde) that did my aunt's mass. Ask if possible for the other Priest/Father. We were very disappointed to say the least. He was in a bad mood before the mass. He did not complete the full mass. He was rushing since he started and stopped the mass to tell us he needed complete silence. I took my son to the quiet room because he was fussy. Father Lizalde waited for me but he didn't resume the mass and cut it short. He did not speak after his reading. He continued with the rest of the service. What he did was so disrespectful for my aunt and everyone attending the mass. He out of all people should demonstrate love and patients especially with a child.
some people might be going through personal spiritual battles , and i don’t think this sign makes people feel welcomed ,, imo , thanks
Great church. Very welcomed by everyone there
I always have a positive experience at this church. Only once my family experienced rude people sitting next to us. One example was when we had my daughter and we asked the ushers that we wanted her to get her blessing since she was a newborn and the ushers told us to sit in the last row so we could get up and stand to take the offerings to the altar. The lady sitting next to us moved my daughter's carseat and when we came back to sit my family could barely sit and we had to sit our 2 boys in our lap along with carrying our newborn daughter. Other than this experience we always choose this church for baptisms/weddings/15's etc since the ushers and Father Miguel are always very courteous.
Their Spanish Mass is so beautiful unfortunately too many parents don’t take their kids to the cry room. I love the singing and how everyone participates in prayers and singing. Father Miquel is an awesome priest and very friendly.
